Barbara runs a private one person Sheltie rescue. For
the past FIFTEEN years she has rescued up to 17 shelties
a year, many are owner turn ins, but a few hard cases,
like the dog thrown out of a car window on Cornelius
Pass Road, and the dog with maggots in the flesh receive
the benefit of her generous caring.
Barb vets them, grooms them up, - you can't imagine the
hours it takes to groom a two year old dog that has
never been groomed-, then turns them out in her nice
kennels for a holiday with her dogs to recover.
When the time is right, a thrilled new owner magically
appears for each dog.
