CH Coastal Wintercreek Storm Warning "Flash" 

We are so proud of Flash. He is being specialed by Pam Korcek of IvanLee shelties and they have been very successful together in 2008.  Pam also put three BOB's and two BISS's on him in 2007 while working with Jan Williams.

This year he was Best Opposite Sex to BOB two of the four days at the Rose City Classic. He competed with multiple local specials.

Last weekend Flash was Best of Breed at the Seattle Kennel Club and made the first cut from the Herding Group.

After the National Flash will be going to Canada with Rachel Pratt to obtain his Canadian championship. He will also be offered at stud in Canada. Later in the summer he will be going to Jade Mist to stand at stud for a few months.

Flash now has two pointed daughters in the US and one that is almost finished in Canada.

Announcing U-CDX Kensil's Totally Awesome CGC, UDX, *RAE*.  He got his 10th RAE leg today with a 1st in Advanced and a 3rd in Excellent.
 
His 12th birthday was yesterday (celebrated with chicken and sweet potato treats)
 
He is now retired.
Ponder and I had a great time in the Utility ring this weekend. He didn't do either go-out yesterday and didn't do the first one today. I looked down at him and told him to knock it off and go all the way to the baby gate and do his touch. He did a great final go-out, perfect sit, bar jump and even a front. Other than the go outs and flying past me with the glove (he took it to the judge and when she wouldn't take it he brought it to me), he did great and had a wonderful attitude. I have hopes that we WILL be able to get that UD in 2008.

TODAY AT THE VANCOUVER KENNEL CLUB......

IVANLEE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS went WB, BOW & BOS over a local Bitch Special for her FIRST points at 10 months old.

We are all so proud of HOLLY!!!!! She is bred trained and spoiled by Pam and Michael Korcek of Ivanlee Shelties.

Holly is also the first pointed puppy from our magnificent multiple BISS CH COASTAL WINTERCREEK STORM WARNING "FLASH"
who you might remember was RWD at the 2006 National under Judge Linda Churchill.

Holly's dam is the beatiful Bi Black bitch IVANLEE LET THERE BE LIGHT "GENISIS" (pointed)
When Pam and Mike (AOC people) first talked to us about breeding Genesis to Flash we said "Are you sure, he is a sable you know?" Pam giggled and said "I know, but the pedigrees go so well together." She was right !!!!! HOLLY is amazing!!!! Holly also has received two RWB titles, one a specialtywin under breeder judge Charlotte Clem McGowan.

IvanLee Shelties is pleased to present our two new homebred Champions for 2007.  In June CH IvanLee Mercy Reigns finished with her 4th major under Breeder Judge Carl Skinner.  In September, under Judge Beverly Capstick, CH IvanLee CharBar Mercy Me finished with her third major, going BOB the next day under Breeder Judge Guy Jeavons.

My oldest daughter Ariana medallioned and took third at 4H State in Intermediate "Junior" Showmanship this summer.  I believe there were just under 100 participants.

Our home- bred/owner handled, herding titled , "Cody" (ROBROVIN COLLECT ON DELIVER, HT, PT) was Best of Breed and 2nd in the Herding Group at the Umpqua Kennel Club show a week ago today. This brings "Cody's" point total to 6, with 3 Best of Breed wins. "Cody" is sired by Barbara Aulbach's CH CALEDON LETTER PERFECT II ex our home-bred CAN/INT CH ROBROVIN CARROUSEL - 9 AKC pts. Incidentally, "Cody" represents the 10th generation of our breeding down from our foundation female in Shelties, CH ROBROVIN TREASURE O'JUBILEE, CD (Dam of 3 Chs.)

Today at the PACIFIC NORTHWEST SHETLAND SHEEPDOG SPECIALTY our "FLASH" CH COASTAL WINTERCREEK STORM WARNING was BISS over other local specials.

Flash was expertly handled by our friend and handler Pam Korcek to his specialty win. I am sure Pam is enjoying putting a BISS on Flash for the second time. Pam works with "The Jan Williams team" along with Renee Guilierie. Pam also has a beautiful Flash daughter at home "Ivanlee Festival of Lights" "Holly" who went to her first AKC show two weeks ago. Thanks Pam, Jan and Renee.

Flash's breeders Tammy and Polly are at home in North Carolina with a horrible thunder and lightning storm setting in on their area. Flash...Coastal Wintercreek Storm Warning was named after the violent Hurricane Ophelia that went through North Carolina and was problematic in sending Flash on a plane to Oregon.

At PNWSSC specialty "GUNNER" Whisperwind Bojangle's Top Gun was RWD. Gunner just turned a year old and after placing 2nd in the 6-9 group at the National has won two dogs shows and is now pointed. Gunner is Ch Jade Mist New Sun Rising X Coastal Carolina Sunrise (pointed) and is proudly owned by Deanne Snedeker and Aleta Canady. He is bred by Aleta Canady and Tammy Alden.YEAH GUNNER!!!!!!!!!!!

Gunner just celebrated his first birthday on July 1st. 
 
Shown to his win by handler Stephanie Josey at the Clackamas Kennel Club shows in Canby Oregon.  Gunner is owned by Deanne Snedeker and Aleta Canady and bred by Aleta Canady and Tammy Alden. 
 
Gunner placed 3rd in his class at the 2007 National and soon after received his first points at the May shows in Elma Washington.

6/17/07 I have to start my brag back to 3 1/2 years ago. I was visiting Barbara Aulbach and she had this litter of boys they were 12 weeks old. Told her I would take one home and socialize, she put one in my arms and I put him in the crate, turned around and looked at the other two and then took the one out of the crate and said "I'll take that one" he had the sweetest face. This little boy came home with me for a couple of weeks but he never went back <smile>He became "Frazier". Caledon Deuces Are Wild. I've told Barb Thank you so many times and I want to say it again. <g> for letting him stay, he is the sweetest boy. I put several pts and a major and his Canadian Championship, we thought that it would be good to keep him in the ring as Jennifer Clohessy wanted him for Juniors. They did very well together as a team they were Best Jr Handler 2007 National, then a couple of weeks later decided to put in the International shows where with group ones' this team was Best In Show one day.I knew that I couldn't go out on this circuit as I was having surgery, Gary Whitmore so graciously offered to take him. In the past I had the exciting
time of calling clients to tell them their dog won, today I got that call, Now I know how it feels, you want to jump right thru the phone and hug your handler. His first show entered he was WD to BOW 4 pt major Eagle Rock KC.......... Judge, Joe Tacker

¨      Two weeks later, Jen showed “Frazier at an international show" where he took two BOB’s, One Group 1 and One Group 2, along with a Best in Show, he also received his International Championship .

CH Coastal Wintercreek Storm Warning was Judge Lorraine Still's Best of Breed yesterday at the Emerald Empire Shetland Sheepdog Club Speciatly in Albany, Oregon. The sable and white dog was sired by CH Sharrow Persuasion, out of Trevanne's Shakira. He is bred by Tammy Alden and Polly Brolin and owned by Debby and Jim Gayton.
